Katrina Cohrs,  Manager/Executive Director

Katrina has been coming to the Elk Valley to take advantage of the recreational opportunities for decades.  Katrina brings her extensive  business  experience to the table and will endeavor to encourage and engage local businesses to become more proactive members of our business community. Alayna Casselman, Administrator

EXECUTIVE

Muriel Stickney - President

Muriel is a  licensed Life Success Consultant & Coach, Certified Body Talk Practitioner and Certified Thai Foot Massage Therapist.  Muriel sat on Council for three years  and is an advocate of networking and promoting local businesses, and as a small business owner, she understands the challenges of operating in a small community. Muriel would like to see the public become more aware of the positive role of the Chamber plays  within the community.  She has been a resident of Sparwood for 30+ years.

Ruth Emslie - Treasurer  

Ruth has lived in Sparwood for 38 years and has owned the Sparwood Esso for 25 years and has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for 23 years. She would like to see the Chamber encourage  a  positive attitude in our Business Community, by encouraging our businesses to spruce up their establishments and encourage the District of Sparwood to give a tax break for doing it.

As a director on the board for the Sparwood and District Chamber of Commerce; Sharon Strom represents Teck Coal Limited. Her role with Teck is in the Community Relations department as Community Liaison. Sharon has enjoyed being a resident of Sparwood since 1992.
